Happy Friday friends! I’m away spending some super girly time with one of my besties today (YAY), but there’s plenty of prettiness going on here on SBB while I’m gone. And we’re starting with a gorgeous spring styled shoot (with a horse!) from photographer Dillon Kin, who comes SBB-recommended as a member of our directory. I just love the bright berry colour scheme of this shoot – so on-trend – as well as the boho feel of the styling and all the blossoms, wow. It’s the perfect inspiration for rustic SouthBound brides!

We wanted to capture a spring blossom theme and show brides how you can tie in spring elements with a few small details. We found a beautiful venue just outside of Pretoria with an orchard field and a field of hay; this was the stage for our styled shoot. The lovely ladies from Gypsy Closet provided the dress, which was elegant yet a bit bohemian and suited the spring theme well. They also provided all the decor for the shoot – you can get in touch with them to set up something similar for your wedding. They are a super team, and literally can provide everything on your wedding day, from the dress, to the decor to invitations. I love what they did with the invitations, very talented ladies indeed. With the makeup and hair, we wanted to go with a natural and light look. Susan Kang did an amazing job in both departments, we tried a couple of different hairstyles on the day, from having the hair tied up to letting it down a tad. We finished off the “bride’s” look with a purple flower crown, which looks absolutely amazing, especially in photographs.
