Bold Wedding Nails

So, nailpolish. Do you love it? I love it. And I don’t know if it’s a fashion thing or a me thing, but I’ve become way more experimental as I’ve got older (totally rocked ombre nails at a wedding this summer, which was fun). Thing is,  I always thought weddings were a strictly French manicured zone. Lately though, little pops of colour and funkiness are turning up across the wedding blogisphere, and it’s starting to become clear that brides are getting bolder with their digits. It could be something as subtle as a nice vintage red, or one of the fun opaques that are all over the fashion world right now, but it screams fresh, fun and individual. For me, it’s just one more way to add a bit of personality, similar to the bold shoe trend that started a few years back, and if you don’t feel daring enough to give it a go, it’s a great option for bridesmaids. The key thing for a bride, as always, is that less is more. If you’re doing this, keep the rest of your accessories more traditional to really make it stand out. And be aware that it’s one trend that may date – but then, it’s such a little thing that you won’t even notice it in a lot of your pictures. In fact, the more I look at these pics, the more I’m loving this look! How about you?
