Time for some Monday prettiness! This boho beautiful engagement shoot in a greenhouse setting really captured my heart – the flower-decked tipi, the rustic elements like antlers, and of course the gorgeous florals by Myrtle Events & Styling and photography by Clareece Smit. It’s a really fun, creative, but also seriously pretty way to do an engagement shoot, and the best part for me is that it tied in perfectly with the couple’s (Charlene and WD’s) own wedding theme (which also incorporates antlers). Gorgeous!
Here’s a bit of background from the stylist, Myrtle Events’ Ezalle:
The bride-to-be approached Myrtle Events & Styling looking for something to incorporate her wedding theme, which was mainly antlers. We wanted to create something that reflected her personality, something relaxed and fun but still elegant. We therefore decide to create a tipi setting with an antler floral arrangement for a focus point. We created moss monogram letters as well as a small delicate and soft flower crown with boutonniere for the groom-to-be. The look was very soft and feminine, with colors of various pinks, greens and splashes of burgundy and gold. We created a bohemian setting with a tipi-style tent construction in Rosemary Hill’s green room, with matching cushions and a picnic blanket. We wanted the antlers to take centre stage and for this reason created a floral focus point with them on top of the tent.
