Happy Monday, lovelies! I’m having a long weekend today as my dad is over from South Africa. We spent yesterday cheering for the Sharks at Twickenham (boo, we lost) and today we’re off to hang with the mummies at the British Museum. So I may be a bit scarce on Twitter and on email for the next couple of weeks, although I have lots of loveliness coming your way (just WAIT until you see tomorrow’s wedding!). Anyway, for today’s inspiration board I wanted something with a sophisticated city/ballroom vibe, the kind of party you could throw on a Manhattan (or Cape Town!) rooftop. Black and white is always a wonderful base for a city wedding, and I love it combined with two of the hot colours from the latest Pantone colour report, bamboo (a dirty yellow) and quarry (a lovely soft grey/blue). And I couldn’t resist including some of my favourite bloggers’ Tuesday Shoesday and Thursday Purseday finds!
Colours: Black, white, bamboo yellow and quarry grey.
