Roll up, roll up! The circus is in town!
Thought our real weddings were finished for the week? Boy do I have a Friday treat for you! If you follow Cap Classique on Facebook (and if you don’t, I’d just love it if you did!), you’ll know that I guest posted earlier this week on the lovely Christie’s blog, Hindsight Bride, with a very special wedding. Remember when you were a kid and the Boswell Wilkie Circus was in town? (Massive excitement!) Well, Michelle and Werner actually got to have their wedding at the Boswell Wilkie circus! How unbelievably cool is that? VERY, that’s how.
Michelle didn’t want decor that competed with the already impressive backdrop of the circus tent, so she decided on a classy black and white Art Deco theme which worked beautifully. Apart from the unique location, she and Werner also brought the circus into the wedding using popcorn confetti, red nose favours and an aerial act at the reception. The end result is one of the most fun and stylish weddings I’ve ever seen. And of course, with all of this going on, it was really important to have a photographer who would really get the concept, and capture images that did it justice. Michelle and Werner chose to work with Heleen of Splendid Productions, who is not only an absolute sweetheart, but Michelle said was even more excited about the circus aspect than she was! I love how her pictures capture all the fun of the day but still retain the elegance of wedding photographs. If you’re getting married in Gauteng, she’s your lady!
These are a few of the pics – head on over to Hindsight Bride to see the rest of this awesome wedding.
