We’re sailing into the weekend with this absolutely gorgeous bridal inspiration from US photography Julia Stockton. Set on the fringes of the desert in Las Vegas at golden hour, with gorgeous sunset-hued florals and a beautiful boho bride, it’s picture perfection – I want to pin every image! What I loved most about this shoot, apart from the gorgeous imagery and delicious light, was that Julia pulled the bride’s look together on a budget, using high street brands. It just goes to show that budget definitely can also mean beautiful, with a little imagination and an impeccable sense of style!
Here’s a little background from the lovely Julia:
The inspiration for this shoot was styling a gorgeous bride with simple and very affordable pieces. I wanted to capture the pretty side of Las Vegas, the side not a lot of tourists know about. So we went to a park near my house called Desert National Wildlife Refuge that has a beautiful creek, tall trees and the good old desert. A pretty bride in the middle of the desert during golden hour and you literally have GOLD. Taylor Bonetti was the model and even though she’s never modeled before she posed like a pro!
I wanted to keep the look very simple. The dress was found online at TJ Maxx (by the brand Marina). The jewelry is Lauren Conrad by Kohls (SO gorgeous and SO affordable!) The shoes are Steve Madden. The make-up was very natural and glowy with warm neutral tones and nude lipstick.
