It’s the time of year when I wish daily that teleportation was real, as emails flood in regarding the beautiful collections to be showing at New York Bridal Fashion Week. One I definitely wouldn’t have missed is Elizabeth Stuart‘s super chic 2016 line, which really stands out from the rest with its classic silhouettes, clean lines, and gorgeous fabrics. It’s thoroughly modern, and yet there’s a touch of delicious retro about it too (reflected in the to-die-for hair and makeup in this lovely lookbook) – I can imagine an old school Hollywood icon donning one of these beautiful gowns, just as well as any contemporary bride.
Here’s what the Elizabeth Stuart team had to say about it: “This collection is the embodiment of the alluring qualities that make women who they are, with their ability to possess amazing strength and combine it with mesmerising beauty and grace. It’s these charming traits that captivated the groom from the moment that they met, and one of the many reasons why he falls deeper in love with his beautiful bride with every passing day. Through the use of beautiful Chantilly lace and luxurious silk georgette, the pieces offer beautiful movement and details that highlight the feminine curves of the bride. These softer gowns are coupled with more tailored pieces, constructed with beautifully textured fabrics that offer powerful structured silhouettes for the bride.”
