We like to start our Mondays off pretty, and today’s inspiration is definitely that! It has a positively delicious palette for starters – rich plum and berry tones popping against shades of blue that range from periwinkle to denim. Mmmm! With hanging florals and elegant table settings, it’s got all the pretty you need, but with a few moody touches like black candles and a beautiful marble cake (yay for our month of marble and minerals!) which make this look absolutely PERFECT for a winter wedding! And let me not forget to mention the spectacular jewelled wedding gown! So much of wow, and Mila Photography was on the scene to capture every detail!
Here’s some background from the creative team:
We wanted to create a moody winter inspiration palette that had a modern twist. We loved the modern industrial look Cabbage & Rose’s glass chapel offered, and chose to use deep plums and gold details for a unique, dramatic look. The venue is located on a beautiful farm surrounded by Eucalyptus trees. We were also inspired by dark romance and wanted to inspire brides to be different and create a beautiful tablescape. We tried to create a winter-esque dramatic look. The custom runner was created by using an ice-dye technique. The use of black candles and moody upholstery fabric gave a dramatic effect. The cake is an artwork by itself, all the flowers were made by hand and the marble effect ties into the marble table used for the stationery. The dramatic flower-filled invitation box also shows brides a different idea.
