Hidey ho, brideys, happy Friday! It’s time for some editorial inspiration, courtesy of the lovely Samantha Jackson Photography. The theme for this one was a loose ‘vintage versus glamour’ style, with two separate tables sure to please both modern and vintage glamour brides! There’s also a cute shoe theme (because who doesn’t love SHOES, right?), with lots of pretty footwear from Anella, and did I mention, absolutely gorgeous dresses by Janita Toerien and Eve’s Bridal? From head to toe to table, there’s plenty here to inspire. And unlike actual Cinderella, you’ll get to take both your glass slippers home at the end of the night.
For this shoot, there was a lot of emphasis on the shoes and showing of the legs and feet – we wanted to show brides that shoes can play an important role in the look and feel of your special day. The mood we wanted to created was romantic with a vintage feel to it, and of course definitely a glamour look. The venue played a key role in the shoot as it portrayed all of these aspects with its high elegant staircase and old wood flooring. The hair and makeup we wanted fresh and glamorous and the accessories definitely finished the look of each outfit. Each supplier played such an important part in the shoot and without them it would not have been possible.
