OMG this engagement shoot though! Literally, when I first came across Amber and Morne’s Cinderella-inspired couple session at Memoire on Instagram, I was totally convinced it was an editorial shoot with models instead of a real engagement, but that’s just because it’s so thoroughly romantic and beautiful (and the couple are so gorgeous!). A breezy spring vibe, a spectacular Elli-Nicole gown embellished with flowers that play perfectly against the blossoms and blooms that surround the couple throughout, a gorgeous vintage car… and of course the most breathtaking images from In Abundance Photography. It really is pure romance, so just take a deep breath and dive on in!
Love Story
Our story is a true testament of God’s grace in both of our lives. True evidence that God answers prayers in His time and that His timing is perfect. Both my fiance’ and I are Christians and devoted our lives to praying for the right spouse that possessed the qualities of a Godly man and woman. Little did we know that God was preparing each of us for our special meeting. My fiance’ was at that time living in Durban and I was living in Johannesburg. I had started a new job and become very friendly with an ex-Durbanite who was eager to get back down to the seaside. We developed quite a special friendship. We both left the company but had remained in touch (and are still, to this day) and he headed back down to Durban where he ended up working with Morne, and competing in a warrior race on the same team. When my friend sent me photos, I ‘met’ my fiancé in one of the pictures. My curiosity got the better of me and I asked who was standing next to my friend in the picture he sent me. He knew the type of man I was looking for and that him being a Godly man was extremely important to me, so although I was a little hesitant, I agreed to let him send Morne my number. Not even two days later and my life changed FOREVER! Fast forward seven months, and my fiance’ uprooted his entire life in Durban and made the big move to Johannesburg. Another seven months later, he planned a special hot air balloon ride where he popped the all-important question, to which I replied a thousand times YES! Now we are a few months away from our blessed wedding and have just bought our first home, and all this time our precious Lord and Saviour has blessed us abundantly with a Christ-centered relationship that we are excited to develop into a strong and lasting Christ-centered marriage. All thanks be to our precious Lord and Saviour for his abundant blessings.
