MORE ABOUT US
Where are you based and what areas do you cover?
Although Cape Town is our home, nothing excites us more than a road trip into unknown territory. We’ll happily cover your wedding throughout South Africa. When we are not taking photographs we like to collect passport stamps – we are happiest when doing both. We’d be happy to shoot your destination wedding anywhere in the world.

How did you get started in weddings?
It was never something we planned. It just seemed to happen. We shot a friend’s wedding. From there we got a few referrals and realised it was something we’d like to explore. Now, several years down the line, we wouldn’t change what we do for the world!

What inspires you?
We love telling people’s stories. There is very little that gets us more excited than creating something new. Each wedding is an opportunity to create images that are not only unique, but that showcase your love story. This, beautiful light and travel all fuel our creative energy.

Favourite place in South Africa?
Any dirt road off the beaten track. The vastness, silence and light in the Karoo really speaks to our souls.

What advice would you give to brides and grooms?
Stay true to yourselves. Make your wedding day your own. Rather add a few minutes here and there on the day to spend with family and friends than racing against the clock.

MORE ABOUT ME
Where are you based and what areas do you cover?
We are based in Claremont, Cape Town and work in surrounding areas.

How did you get started in weddings?
Bright and Beautiful, Flowers & Decor started off as a small business eight years ago. It happened at a time in my life when I was able to follow my dreams, being able to relax and enjoy doing something I loved. I often tell people that, as I have no daughters of my own, and will therefore never have the chance of being the mother of the bride, I make all my prospective brides my adopted daughters for a short while. It is always an emotional moment seeing my girls in their wedding dresses, glowing and looking totally gorgeous as they are about to walk down the aisle.
I was lucky enough to be trained by Joan Pare (Constantia School of Floristry) who was a legend back in the day! Although I did not pursue a career in florisry at that time I always maintained a love and interest in flower arranging and over the years have done several flower courses.

What inspires you?
I am inspired by nature – the seasons bringing us different flowers and foliage, textures and colours. I enjoy travelling which helps me to keep abreast of trends and styles.

Favourite place in South Africa?
Definitely my own home town, Cape Town. A weekend hideaway or day trip would be to Franschhoek.

What advice would you give to brides and grooms?
Sit down together and draw up a comprehensive budget for your wedding. Make a pact to stick to your budget despite temptation. Let your florist/stylist know what your budget is. Be realistic! You should feel comfortable and trust your co-ordinator and/or floral designer. Give them the opportunity to put your ideas together and present a vision for your special day.

MORE ABOUT US
Where are you based and what areas do you cover?
Our head office is based in Cape Town, however we coordinate and execute our designer celebrations across all of South Africa as well as neighbouring countries.

How did you get started in weddings?
After visiting and falling in love with South Africa, Christina started Wedding Concepts in 2004, followed by sister companies Event Concepts & Travel Concepts that now form the Concepts Collection. The company has since coordinated some of the largest and most high profile nuptials & events conducted on our shores.

What inspires you?
We are inspired by design and detail as well as service excellence, for our international team, these go hand in hand and we love setting trends and creating bespoke designer celebrations for our clients from all corners of the earth.

Favourite place in South Africa?
We are all very proud to call Cape Town home and love sharing this diverse city with our international clients and sharing the hidden gems with our local market. It was recently placed number 1 on the New York Times list of places to visit in the world and we couldn’t agree more. Needless to say our 5 star Game Reserves hold a very close second.

What advice would you give to brides and grooms?
Don’t be shy to set your own trends! Designing a wedding these days has moved into the realm of conceptualising an event, often across several days. Involving a professional coordination team like Wedding Concepts should be a top priority to guarantee stress free perfection from A to Z.

The Mosaic Wedding Company

ABOUT ME
I am a 30 year old born and bred Capetonian, and if you decide to choose me to plan your wedding, please be assured that the utmost love and affection will go into every thought and moment spent planning YOUR Legendary Day.
I actually have a wedding file (which has now been taken over by my Pinterest board) which I have created for my future Legendary Wedding Day… some may find that odd, however, I want my wedding day to be perfect, just as much as you do. I have loved weddings all my life, they are just so romantic and as clichéd as it may sound, it is the first day of the rest of your life, and what a day it will be!

MORE ABOUT ME
Where are you based and what areas do you cover?
I am based in Cape Town, however, I go whereever the next wedding takes me.

How did you get started in weddings?
I started out in the wedding industry as a Professional Wedding Photographer in 2008. With each wedding that I photographed, I realised how much I loved being a part of my bride and groom’s special day, (I also realised how many brides were in way over their heads and completely stressed out) and slowly but surely, I made my move into becoming a Professional Wedding Planner. I have been the proud owner of The Mosaic Wedding Company since 2011 and have planned many weddings since opening.

What inspires you?
I am inspired by life in general – positive and real people, laughter, dreaming of the unimaginable, feeling skinny on a fat day and love!

Favourite place in South Africa?
Oooh, that’s a hard one. I love the beach, so the West Coast is a top contender. The wine routes are just as stunning, but if I had to choose – then I would say the Kruger National Park. I was lucky enough to spend some time there a few years ago and fell in love with everything about it.

What advice would you give to brides and grooms?
Relax! Everything comes together in the end. Planners are there to help you and guide you through the hard and stressful times. We have done this so many times, so trust us. Don’t let the small things become the big things. It is so important to understand this. Try to think of yourself in ten years time looking back at your wedding day. You should be smiling and remembering your first kiss as husband and wife, or the dance you had with your father. It is a special time for you and your husband, so wake up, get dressed, walk down that aisle and enjoy your first day as a Mrs. Trust the suppliers you have hired and spend the rest of the day drinking champagne and enjoying yourself.
