Persy Bridal Collection 2014/2015

Time for some more gorgeous fashion inspiration, ladies! I must say, I am loving how far bridal has come in the last few years, from cookie cutter meringues to truly amazing, one-of-a-kind creations that often wouldn’t look out of place on the red carpet. Because a bride shouldn’t just feel like a princess, but a  starlet, right? And talking of Hollywood-worthy looks, I’m super excited to be introducing you to the work of another international designer today, Yaniv Persy. This ultra-feminine, beautifully structured and exquisitely made collection is really making waves, and when you see the pics below you’ll know why. Born in Israel and raised in South America, Yaniv has worked with some of fashion’s biggest names, including John Galliano, Roberto Cavalli, and Donna Karan. He’s now established his own label and launched the Persy Bridal Collection.

Here’s a bit more background on the look:
The collection is contemporary and light, tradition and innovation are reflected and combined together to create amazing contrasts. Handmade flower ornaments and antique lace imported from France decorate the dresses following an inspiration from the 1920s, with a modern, fashion-forward twist. Transparency games are created by soft silk combined with pearl and Swarovski stones, that with incredible craft techniques create shapes and decorations accompanying the body. All the fabrics and the laces are imported from France and Italy: satin, silk, chiffon, silk satin and organza. The collection is dynamic and various, skirts and corsets can be combined to create different looks, mixing up style and creating sparkling combinations which is a popular choice for the brides on their one-day look. Says designer Yaniv Persy: “I believe that every bride that walks in to my studio wants to fulfill her fantasy, her childhood dream and especially her individual style. This is the reason why my dresses are a product of design fantasies.”
